Erie is only one hour south of Detroit and easily accessible
from several nearby states. Mi-Hi Charters trolls for walleye using Planer Boards, Jet Divers, Dipsy Divers, Downriggers, Silver Streak Spoons and some various crankbaits.
Anyone who has fished on the
"MI-HI" has appreciated the bountiful fishing,
which often leads to a "limit" catch of Walleye.
This is our most popular time of the fishing season - so

Lake Erie's Walleye limit is 5 per person in Michigan or 6 per person in Ohio.
Lake Erie Perch
Fishing
Throughout Lake Erie, Yellow Perch tend to be found near
or on the lake bottom. Mi-Hi Charters fishes for perch with
live minnows on spreader or perch rigs. Varying the bait
on or near the bottom. Our jigging up and down technique
results in the best catches.
Lake Erie's Yellow Perch limit is 50 per person in Michigan
or 30 per person in Ohio. Plenty of perch for a hearty,
tasty meal that is arguably the best tasting fish in the
lake!
